Job Overview

The Property Maintenance Assistant is a key role at Femco, Inc., responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties. This includes common areas such as interior hallways, exterior grounds, parking garages, pools, and trash compactors.

This position requires a team player who can perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning carpets, replacing light bulbs, and collecting trash. The ideal candidate will also have experience with landscaping, leaf blowing, and power washing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep common areas clean and well-maintained.
  • Clean community pool, pool area/grills, and other outdoor spaces.
  • Address minor repair requests and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Monitor property for safety hazards and report any issues to the Lead Maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property maintenance, grounds keeping, or a related field.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Must pass drug screening and background check.

Estimated salary: $16.00/hour.
