Candidates should be adept at maintaining comprehensive and precise records, communicating effectively, and collaborating within a team environment. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation support is preferred, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and remain composed under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents (including petitions and motions) under attorney supervision.
- Ensuring proper documentation and chain of custody for evidence.
- Managing calendars for important events and deadlines.
- Composing correspondence and emails.
- Preparing and responding to discovery requests.
- Coordinating deposition schedules.
- Designating and coordinating expert witnesses.
- Overseeing document management processes.
- Preparing trial documentation and notebooks.
- Utilizing case management software (Smart Advocate).
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro.
This position operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with designated lunch and break periods. Our firm values work-life balance, encouraging staff to focus on their responsibilities during work hours and enjoy personal time outside of work.
While this role is not remote, a private office space will be provided.
Additional Information:
Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
Benefits available after the probationary period include: paid time off (vacation and sick leave), health insurance (with employer covering 80%), dental and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, a profit-sharing plan, an annual firm trip, and reserved parking.
The salary range indicated is a guideline; actual compensation may vary based on the applicant's experience and qualifications.
