Defense Paralegal

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal - Defense to join our dynamic legal team. This individual will provide high-quality legal support to our defense attorneys, focusing on maritime and insurance defense litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Utilize legal software for case management, document review, and trial preparation.
- Maintain strong client relations and ensure prompt communication.
- Organize and manage files, documents, and exhibits for easy retrieval.
- Assist in contract drafting, review, and interpretation.
- Coordinate and manage timelines and deadlines for various legal processes.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a defense-focused role.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal degree.
- Proficient in litigation support, legal writing, and contract law.
- Experience with legal software for case management and document review.
- Excellent client relations skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
