About the Role

HPC Industrial is seeking a skilled Traveling CDL Driver to join their team in Hammond, IN. As a key member of our safety-conscious team, you will be responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and complete single-task jobs requiring one crew, ensuring compliance with client and business requirements.
  • Operate vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, and other specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment and ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
  • Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
  • Complete pre and post-trip inspections, driver's logs, and comply with all vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
Working Environment

Industrial setting, including power plants, refineries, petro-chemical facilities, utilities, pulp and paper mills, etc.

  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B, and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
  • Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device.
  • Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) or need to acquire.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Class B CDL License minimum.
  • Tanker Endorsements or need to acquire.
