Job Description:

As a Regional Environmental Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the environmental strategy of DSJ Global. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement environmental management systems that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will establish and maintain standards and policies that support regulatory adherence, conduct thorough environmental performance analyses, and establish metrics for ongoing monitoring and reporting.

Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams and external partners, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants, to promote and maintain environmental standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies across multiple locations.
  • Develop and implement strategic programs that integrate engineering, construction, and operations.
  • Foster a culture of environmental responsibility and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
  • Conduct thorough environmental audits and submit timely reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage environmental risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager.
  • Proficiency in regulatory assessments, air emissions evaluations, water discharge requirements, and waste management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 or ACA Responsible Care management systems is a plus.
