Spherion is seeking a Sales Account Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Port St. Lucie area. This role is essential in fostering revenue growth and nurturing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and sales abilities.
The Sales Account Specialist will collaborate closely with the external sales team and various internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage with clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their needs and enhance customer service.
2. Drive profitable sales by proactively pursuing orders from existing and prospective clients.
3. Address customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, and other concerns.
4. Conduct research and respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
5. Prepare quotations, product specifications, and related information as necessary.
6. Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines, pricing, lead times, and similar data.
7. Identify opportunities to quote on customer requirements and follow up on submitted quotations.
8. Collaborate in a team environment with outside sales and counter sales personnel.
9. Monitor sales performance and provide recommendations to enhance productivity.
10. Exhibit effective presentation skills to influence and communicate with clients.
11. Keep abreast of key products, sales policies, practices, approvals, and promotional activities.
Working Hours:
7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Some college education preferred.
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse is advantageous.
- Knowledge of plumbing, PVF, and/or utility markets is a plus.
- High School diploma required.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in inside sales.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.
- Organized in managing both paper-based and electronic information.
