Job Summary:

As a Senior Vice President, Investment Officer within our East Region, you will lead a team of 4 real estate investment professionals focused on growing Prologis' investment activities and competitive position in the New Jersey market. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Market Officer, Leasing and Development team to drive deal flow by directly identifying new capital deployment opportunities.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the investment team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with the firm's values and ethics.
  • Leveraging existing professional relationships and developing new strategic contacts to generate business opportunities with potential real estate partners, private sellers, brokers, investment bankers, owners, developers, consultants, and high net-worth individuals.
  • Identifying and presenting new investment opportunities to the Senior Leadership and Prologis Investment Committee.
  • Ability to identify, anticipate, communicate, and capitalize on market trends to bring industry-leading returns to Prologis.
  • Developing comprehensive knowledge of all of the company's assets, strategy, processes, and systems.
  • Directing all land development and entitlement efforts within the market.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience executing industrial real estate transactions (investments across various risk profiles). Minimum of 5 years managing a team of 3 or more direct reports.
  • A leader and team player, a successful candidate must work well in a multi-functional, collaborative environment, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and a committed customer service mentality.
  • Demonstrated experience/successful track record sourcing, originating, acquiring, negotiating, and closing commercial/industrial real estate transactions in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to develop, cultivate, and manage high-quality relationships with owners, operators, high net-worth individuals, and intermediaries in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. real estate market, with direct past/current experience in the Northeast.
  • Strong leadership experience and a history of teamwork and collaboration.

Prologis offers a competitive salary range of $239,000-$329,000, with a whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
