The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Spring-based Java Microservices to support web applications using Spring Boot annotations.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications, often using new technologies.
  • Collaborate with users and testers to ensure requirements and test plans meet customer needs.

Requirements:

You are:

  • A seasoned Java Developer with 10+ years of experience.
  • Familiar with working with multiple teams, especially Middleware Support, Unix, Database Support, and Migration Teams.
  • Experienced in Java 7 and above, with a strong preference for Java 8.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies like Angular, JavaScript, and relevant skills.
  • Familiar with Azure Cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microservices and understanding of DevOps tools, preferably GitLab.
  • Experienced in frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and Hikari Connection Pooling.
  • Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, preferably Sybase and Oracle.
  • Familiar with SDLC and Release Control.
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology.
