Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Administrator to join our team at the Center for Dermatology. This individual will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical assignments to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative duties in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication with patients, staff, and insurance companies.
  • Perform various clinical tasks to support our medical staff, including escorting patients to exam rooms.
  • Develop and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance data in our online system.
  • Collect co-pays and balances based on data provided through our online account information system.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate expectations for post-visit requirements with the clinical team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BA degree and a 2-year commitment to the role.
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or related fields, with a strong understanding of medical billing procedures.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy.
