Position Overview:

This role is dedicated to delivering both on-site and remote technical assistance (hardware and software), training, and issue resolution to the user community, ensuring maximum job efficiency and productivity. The focus is on providing exceptional customer service in a precise, effective, and timely manner to foster a positive and professional experience for end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and uphold Information Technology (IT) business applications to guarantee a dependable and secure environment for personnel.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system issues to ensure swift resolution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other personnel to enhance the effective utilization of business systems throughout the organization.
  • Proactively recognize risks and challenges while driving innovative solutions.
  • Maintain standards and procedures for all business operations.
  • Ensure that incidents and service requests are managed within service level agreements (SLA) and in line with company policies.
  • Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computer systems.
  • Oversee asset inventory, including peripherals.
  • Manage software installation, updates, removal, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in the user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and recommend ways for Del Monte to leverage new technologies.
  • Analyze and propose recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
  • Conduct system backups and recovery procedures.
  • Evaluate hardware to determine if assets require replacement.
  • Remove outdated equipment and facilitate data migration to new devices.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by the business and the IT department.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems) from an accredited institution and/or equivalent professional experience in a similar capacity.
  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in an IT support environment, with experience working across various functional teams.
  • Proficient in providing support for the Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written; proficiency in Spanish is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with current equipment, technology, and operating systems (Linux, Windows administration, basic networking troubleshooting, system recovery, and performance monitoring tools).
  • Microsoft or Cisco certifications are advantageous.
