Your Role:
As a Financial Analyst at Companion Protect, you will play a crucial role in generating and disseminating financial reports to our partners and insurance entities on a monthly basis or as needed. You will also assist the Client Services and Executive teams by providing necessary internal reports and analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, assess, and report on essential metrics and overall company performance across various sales channels.
- Deliver monthly reconciliation and reserve reports to client partners, insurance firms, and our reinsurance company.
- Manage and oversee financial data related to our insurance programs, including premiums, revenue, claims, and billing.
- Collaborate with Database Administrators to gain insights and enhance reporting capabilities for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support the Client Services team with all reporting needs for current and prospective clients.
- Work with IT product owners and project managers to establish business requirements for product and system development initiatives.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes, including necessary updates to business cases.
- Provide analytical support in reviewing enrollment and claim activities to identify trends and improvement areas in pricing or coverage.
- Conduct additional analyses on various projects, including product changes, distribution channels, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, 1+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, or Business.
- Experience in the insurance sector or a related regulated industry is preferred.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, reporting software, and analytical tools.
