Role Summary: We are looking for a Business Development Associate to enhance our growth trajectory. This position requires a proactive and organized individual to assist in acquiring federal contracts and expanding our business portfolio.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize platforms such as Sam.Gov, eBuy, and GovTribe to identify and research business opportunities.
  • Support the formulation and implementation of strategies aimed at securing government contracts.
  • Maintain and update client information in our CRM system to facilitate effective communication and relationship management.
  • Oversee the opportunity pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and actions.
  • Be prepared to meet individual quotas on key agency targets supported by HyerTek, including various DoD agencies, HHS, VA, and selected civilian targets.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to provide leadership with insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations that align with client requirements and budget constraints.
  • Engage in industry conferences and networking events to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in government IT consulting within a sales or business development capacity.
  • Broad understanding of technology trends and federal government purchasing behaviors.
  • Basic knowledge of federal procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with GovWin, GovTribe, FPDS, and USA Spending is highly preferred.
