Space Policy and International Relations Advisor

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

Role Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Space Policy and International Relations Advisor to deliver expert knowledge and organizational support within our Policy, Advocacy, and International Division (PAID). This position is crucial for influencing and advancing space policy, nurturing industry connections, and facilitating both domestic and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert knowledge in space policy, the aerospace sector, and international relations, supporting the strategic objectives of the division.
  2. Enhance and maintain relationships within the aerospace sector, serving as a liaison among government entities, private industry, and international partners.
  3. Draft and contribute to space policy documents, ensuring they align with industry standards and governmental goals.
  4. Organize divisional workflows, providing both subject-matter expertise and organizational support to federal personnel.
  5. Assist in the planning and execution of domestic and international events, such as conferences and workshops, engaging participants from both government and private sectors.
  6. Represent the division at pertinent conferences, delivering summaries and actionable insights to improve strategic planning.
  7. Coordinate the internal approval process for briefings, memos, and other documentation, ensuring all materials adhere to required standards and timelines.

Qualifications:

Experience: Demonstrated experience in space policy, the aerospace sector, and international relations, with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of these domains.

Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Expertise: Familiarity with federal processes, event coordination, and document management, with the capability to navigate complex workflows and deadlines.

Availability: Willingness to attend and engage in domestic and international events as necessary.
