Job Summary

The Registered Nurse NICU II position at North Suburban Medical Center is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team. As a member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and stabilize critically ill newborns, including those requiring mechanical ventilation and other life-sustaining therapies
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to families, empowering them to participate in their child's care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Neonate Resuscitate required within first three months of hire
  • STABLE Preferred
  • Registered Nurse Diploma, Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable
