About the Role:

As an Elementary Education Facilitator at Elevo, you will play a vital role in transforming the well-being of students and making a positive impact on their lives. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team and lead engaging social-emotional learning and enrichment activities for elementary and middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate students through social-emotional learning and enrichment activities, including STEAM, to increase excitement about learning.
  • Lead lessons designed to promote academic support and homework completion.
  • Effectively manage student behavior and ensure student safety during outdoor activities.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and embrace professional development opportunities.
  • Serve as a positive role model to students, building their self-esteem and emotional wellness.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Ability to implement engaging lesson plans while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Effective support for kids' behavioral management needs.
  • Capacity to connect with students and foster positive learning experiences.
  • Ability to improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed.
  • Approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids.
  • Confident leadership and positive role modeling.
  • Comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources.
  • Seamless collaboration with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches.

Additional Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Completion of a Live-Scan background check and TB screening.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences.
  • Completion of at least 48 college credits or successful completion of an Instructional Aide Exam.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.
