Before-School Program Facilitator

We're on a mission to transform the well-being of students, making them look forward to coming to school. Our comprehensive programs, infused with social-emotional learning (SEL), promote physical, mental, and academic well-being. We collaborate closely with schools to offer enriching activities that foster learning, movement, and growth for kids in grades K-8.
The RoleAs a Before-School Program Facilitator, you'll motivate elementary and middle school students through social-emotional learning and enrichment activities, including STEAM, and academic support. You'll lead lessons designed to increase excitement about learning, assist with homework completion, and snack distribution. You'll effectively manage student behavior, ensure student safety during outdoor activities, and work effectively with staff and administrators.
About YouWe're looking for someone who has been successful working with elementary and/or middle school kids. You'll understand and implement engaging lesson plans, effectively support kids' behavioral management needs, and connect with students to foster positive learning experiences. You'll be approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids. You'll present yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model, comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources.
Requirements- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion and passing of a Live-Scan background check and TB screening
- 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences
- Completed at least 48 college credits or successfully passed an Instructional Aide Exam
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to engage in physical activities with or without an accommodation
