Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Cardiology and Medicine Enterprises. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our Manager and contribute to the efficient operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Management: Assemble, organize, and maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and electronic records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments and procedures, and verify insurance and referrals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Patient and Visitor Services: Greet patients and visitors, assist staff as needed, and maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Document Management: Mail out, fax, file, and scan documents, as well as perform heavy clerical duties, filing, and sorting.
  • Documentation and Filing: Collect and assess documentation from various sources, organize and code documentation, create and update files, and file documentation in appropriate files.
  • File Maintenance: Destroy outdated files following protocol, move files to inactive storage, and retrieve records on request.
  • Logistics and Errands: Use a reliable vehicle and current Driver's License to run errands as needed.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and protect all Protected Health Information (PHI).
