Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at CARTI. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and document patient vitals, perform venipuncture, and assist with medical procedures.
  • Work closely with the physician coordinator to maintain a smooth patient flow.
  • Prepare equipment, maintain supplies, and perform daily quality control.
  • Chart in EMR, look up lab orders, and run laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Strong medical terminology knowledge and efficient blood draw skills.
  • Excellent computer and office equipment skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable situations.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
Work Environment:

This position involves potential exposure to infectious diseases. Colleagues are offered appropriate vaccinations and safety training.
