Office Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide administrative support to the Police Department Training personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical assistance to Police Department Training personnel.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries.
- Copy and file paperwork as necessary.
- Prepare mail outs and perform data entry tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and one (1) year of vocational technical school course work in Office Administration, or a related area.
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse or property storage, or similar types of work is a plus.
Benefits:
- Part-time employees who work 1,500 hours shall receive six (6) days of Sick Leave upon the completion of the 1,500 hours.
- Regular part-time employees who were in pay status (vacation, sick leave, or actual hours worked) for at least 1,500 hours during the year shall receive the following Vacation Leave:
