About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager, Client Relationship Executive to join our team at Penn Foster Inc. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base in Pennsylvania.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at government agencies, higher education institutions, and local governments in Pennsylvania.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions and proposals to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to clients on industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with our sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business development strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Pennsylvania state government, higher education, and local government landscapes, including procurement processes and contracting environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the education or training industry, with a focus on government or corporate clients.
  • Knowledge of Penn Foster Inc.'s products and services, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
