Position Overview

As an Aquatic Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals utilizing the aquatic facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the cleanliness and operational standards of the swimming area, while actively promoting a safe environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the swimming area to ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and operational standards of the aquatic facilities.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain chemical balance in the pool.
  • Engage with members and guests to promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications:

This position is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • A passion for swimming and aquatic activities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • The ability to successfully complete a swim proficiency test.
  • A commitment to obtaining necessary certifications, including Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Basic First Aid.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
