Job Title: Administrative Analyst II

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Analyst II to join our team at The HR Source. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Analyst II will provide administrative support to the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, and Legislative Coordinator. This role will involve performing professional-level administrative work, including supervisory responsibility, under general supervision from an administrative or technical superior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a system to track the status of legislation.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Executive staff regarding the status of legislation.
  • Track and analyze legislation filed by the County Council.
  • Prepare initial drafts of routine legislation, amendments, resolutions, and appointments.
  • Ensure that testimony has been received for legislative items and review testimony.
  • Attend work sessions and monthly meetings as directed.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including making copies, compiling filed legislation, and maintaining legislative files.
  • Distribute passed legislation to impacted parties.
  • Prepare initial drafts of decisions of the Personnel Officer designee as assigned.
  • Handle scheduling of Step 4 grievances and appeal hearings.
  • Perform administrative work in scheduling labor/management meetings and compiling collective bargaining agreements.
  • Assist with the input of budget data into the budget system SAP and grants management.
  • Assist in coverage for the front desk administrative aide.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe.
Language Skills, Mathematical Skills, and Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
