The Advisory Group will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the proper intersection of AI values and emerging and future AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI ethics, governance, and policy, as well as a strong understanding of the District of Columbia's AI values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in public listening sessions to gather stakeholder perspectives on AI values and emerging technologies
  • Review specific AI tools, deployments, or technologies and advise on how they can be brought into alignment with the District's AI values
  • Collaborate with government members and public stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of AI values and their application
  • Provide expert advice to the Mayor on the refinement and alignment of the District government's AI values

Requirements
  • Expertise in AI ethics, governance, and policy
  • Strong understanding of the District of Columbia's AI values
  • Ability to work collaboratively with government members and public stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
