Position Overview:
The Supervisor of Community Living Support Services is tasked with overseeing the safety and welfare of individuals receiving support. This role also includes managing a team of Addiction Recovery Technicians. This is a full-time position that offers benefits and requires flexibility to work various shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all essential functions of a substance abuse technician as outlined in the technician role description.
- Provide ongoing supervision of technician duties, including:
- Posting job openings and collaborating with the Recruitment Manager to fill vacancies.
- Developing and managing training programs for technician staff.
- Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, including documentation practices.
- Completing work schedules for technicians and reviewing their time records.
- Facilitating monthly meetings for technicians to share information and conduct training sessions.
- Assisting the director in conducting annual performance evaluations for technician staff.
- Act as a liaison between clinical and technician staff to enhance communication and coordination of treatment efforts.
- Collaborate with program development to oversee the admission tracking system.
- Prepare written documentation related to the admission process.
- Review technician documentation for accuracy.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain unit files, including shift logs, group logs, admission tracking, monthly drills, and other ongoing documentation.

Management Responsibilities:
In the absence of the program director and counseling staff, ensure quality and continuity of services by managing staff operations, which includes:
- Overseeing daily unit operations.
- Ensuring the safety and security of both consumers and staff.
- Providing clinical guidance on consumer treatment matters.
- Coordinating with probation, parole, and other outpatient agencies regarding consumer treatment and recovery.
- Assist clients with transportation needs as clinically indicated; driving is a key function of this role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily tasks and operations of supervisees.
- Complete performance development processes.
- Manage time card submissions and ensure progress towards departmental strategic goals.

Working Conditions:
- Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids.
- Regular exposure to biohazard waste materials.
- Operating vehicles or machinery.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- A valid unrestricted driver's license is required at the time of hire, with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license within the introductory period.
