Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cleaning Operations Supervisor with a keen eye for detail to oversee the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities. This role will be responsible for managing the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all housekeeping staff adhere to established cleanliness protocols. You will handle all housekeeping-related issues, manage supplies, linens, equipment, and coordinate with maintenance staff for any necessary repairs.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Upholding the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Creating daily work assignments to ensure all areas are maintained according to cleanliness standards.
- Supervising housekeeping staff in all cleaning operations while maintaining productivity standards.
- Training, assigning tasks, and scheduling team members, while ensuring quality control of their work.
- Addressing guest complaints regarding housekeeping services or escalating issues to management.
- Ordering uniforms and supplies as needed.
- Overseeing the testing of new cleaning products for the department.
- Notifying maintenance of any repairs required.
- Conducting inspections of at least 8 rooms daily to verify cleanliness standards are upheld.
- Assisting guests and staff as needed, with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Documenting lost and found items accurately.
- Checking vacant rooms for condition and reporting any discrepancies.
- Ensuring that all storage and linen areas are clean and well-stocked.
- Reporting valuable items found to management promptly after a guest checks out.
- Managing all linens, blankets, and room supplies, including equipment like vacuums and laundry machines.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
