Position Summary

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the effective management of the Culinary Department within a healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation and cooking of diverse food offerings, as well as collaborating with the Executive Chef to design innovative menu items and ensure their proper presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing food costs and budgetary controls.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development.
  • Coordinate catering events and special functions.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts.
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management.
  • Experience in catering services is advantageous.
  • Background in high-volume food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of food trends, quality standards, and sanitation practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
