Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This role involves delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients, adhering to established medical standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care under the guidance of a supervising physician.
  • Identify and address patient care needs effectively.
  • Recommend treatment options and execute physician directives.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments through interviews and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine patient conditions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document care services.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, including injections and wound management.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health-related issues.
  • Collaborate on patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment by following health protocols.
  • Stay informed on legal and professional requirements in healthcare.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through ongoing education and networking.
  • Support the development of healthcare team members through training opportunities.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active licensure to practice as a PA/NP.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical care principles and patient management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respond to emergencies calmly.
Physical Requirements:

Position demands may vary by clinical setting. The role requires repetitive motion of the hands and wrists and may involve exposure to various health risks associated with patient care.

Work Environment:

The position is based in a well-maintained clinical office environment with standard working hours, with occasional requirements for additional hours or travel.
