Job Title: Director of Marketing & External Communications

Reports to: VP of Sales & Investor Strategy

Join the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce team as we seek a highly skilled Director of Marketing & External Communications to lead our marketing and communications efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, enhance our brand, and build strong relationships with our members and stakeholders.

About the Role

The Director of Marketing & External Communications will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the Chamber's business objectives. This includes creating and implementing marketing campaigns, managing our website and social media presence, and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a marketing and communications strategy that drives business growth and enhances our brand
  • Manage and maintain our website and social media presence
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to engage our members and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, and community leaders
  • Provide strategic communications support to the executive team and other departments
  • Monitor and analyze marketing and communications metrics to inform future strategies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a business or non-profit setting
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices, including digital marketing and social media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver compelling content
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
