Job Summary

The Administrative Support Coordinator I provides administrative support to the department chair, faculty, and staff in the Physical Therapy Department. This role involves coordinating and supervising support staff, using office equipment and technology, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the department chair and faculty
  • Coordinate and supervise support staff
  • Use office equipment and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and online systems
  • Perform standard business math, such as calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data, and making simple projections
  • Draft and compose correspondence and standard reports
  • Handle effectively a broader range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature

Requirements

  • Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents
  • Three years of related office work experience
