Business Administration Intern

**Mission**
The A-C Electric Company Internship Experience Program is a comprehensive learning journey that fosters growth and development. As a Business Administration and Project Coordination Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, develop professionally, and explore various career paths within business operations and project management. This 10-week program immerses you in real-world construction projects, where you'll assist in managing key aspects of project execution, track project timelines, and coordinate communications.
**About You**
We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented students who are eager to learn and have a passion for business management and project coordination. The ideal candidates are strong communicators, highly organized, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Key Responsibilities and Internship Benefits**
As a Business Administration and Project Coordination Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with a mentor to assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.
- Support project teams by tracking project timelines, managing documentation, and coordinating communications.
- Participate in Book Club assignments to develop leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior leaders to discuss project strategies and business operations.
- Build a lasting professional network through social events and team-building activities.
- Assist with project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
- Help coordinate meetings, manage project resources, and contribute to project reports.
- Deliver a formal presentation on a summer project, showcasing your organizational and project management skills.
The Business Administration and Project Coordination Intern will be supervised by our Project Manager.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)**
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during our summer program.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation on or before August 2027.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above).
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills, demonstrated through leadership roles in teams or student organizations.
- Experience with project coordination, business management, or construction-related coursework or internships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an interest in project management.
**Location**
Must reside in Fresno or within a reasonable commute.
Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
