We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Management Director to join our team at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Supplier Management Processes: Design and implement effective supplier management processes, practices, and standards to ensure supplier/contract performance, rationalization, and alignment across the enterprise.
- Establish Supplier Oversight Framework: Develop a framework to support and assist the business in establishing supplier oversight through quarterly business reviews for our critical, high-risk, and in-scope suppliers, ensuring oversight of the mitigation of risks and performance across all related engagements.
- Monitor Supplier Performance: Ensure supplier performance management by monitoring supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that vendors are meeting their contractual obligations.
- Develop SLA Matrix: Develop an SLA matrix to define minimum SLA requirements based on service category.
- Implement Continuous Monitoring Capability: Develop processes and procedures to stand-up a continuous monitoring capability for the program, which will manage risks utilizing continuous monitoring risk intelligence tools on financial and reputational risks.
- Provide Guidance on SLAs: Provide guidance to the business in developing SLAs during contracting.
- Manage Offboarding Oversight: Manage offboarding oversight or ensuring timely renewal or transition where required.
- Collect and Analyze Supplier Data: Collect and analyze supplier data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement.
- Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on TPMO and supplier management processes, tools, and technologies.
- Stay Current on Emerging Trends: Stay current on emerging trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supplier management processes, reduce costs, and optimize current supplier management technology.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure supplier management practices are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier-related risks based on performance metrics and issues oversight.
- Develop Reporting: Develop reporting to ensure Contract Owner, Business Unit Executive, and CxO Level understanding of supplier performance, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Degree
