Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with a strong background in forensic analysis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Professional Engineering license (PE) and possess prior forensic experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Evaluating and analyzing electrical equipment and components.
  • Performing fire origin and cause investigations.
  • Managing multiple projects and collaborating with clients and consultants.
  • Preparing detailed reports that summarize your findings and analyses.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • Demonstrated forensic experience.
  • Advanced technical education degrees are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MathCAD, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office).
Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Process plants.
  • High voltage power generation and distribution.
  • Instrumentation and controls.
