Regional Anesthesiologist with Research Expertise

We are seeking a highly qualified Regional Anesthesiologist to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
Responsibilities- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
- Provide clinical anesthesia and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia blocks, including single-shot peripheral nerve blocks, fascial plane blocks, and neuraxial blocks and catheters.
- Conduct research and scholarship, publishing peer-reviewed publications and presenting work at scientific meetings and other venues.
- Secure grants, particularly on the tenure track, and encourage grant-seeking on the clinician educator track.
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system.
- Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
- Completion of fellowship training in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine or chronic pain medicine.
