ECG Management Consultants is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Healthcare Consulting Internship program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of consultants, gaining valuable industry exposure and taking on project work consistent with that of full-time consultants.
About the Program
The Healthcare Consulting Internship is a 10-12 week program designed for students pursuing a master's degree in a healthcare-related field. During the program, you will work in the Healthcare Consulting Pool, consisting of four Divisions: Strategy & Enterprise Growth, Payer Strategy & Contracting, Health System Performance, and Medical Group Optimization.
About the Divisions
Strategy & Enterprise Growth
Develop and support strategies, planning, organizational design, transactions, and partnerships that reposition health systems, academic health systems, physician groups, and medical and health sciences schools for impact and growth.
Payer Strategy & Contracting
Optimize strategies, relationships, terms, and methodologies related to revenue and market position for healthcare providers, disrupters, and payers.
Health System Performance
Lead comprehensive performance improvement and clinical program optimization across the full continuum of care, supporting high-quality care while driving operational and financial results across all care settings.
Medical Group Optimization
Work with health systems and independent organizations to improve the performance of medical groups, with a focus on governance and leadership, integration, infrastructure, and provider compensation (design, administration, valuation, and compliance).
About the Role
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Analyze, synthesize, and interpret data to inform client recommendations.
- Use financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews.
- Lead information-gathering efforts.
- Assist in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets.

About the Salary
The estimated salary for this internship is $60 hourly. This represents a good faith estimate of what ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes.
