SC&A is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid analytical skills, and proven problem-solving experience.

The intern will provide technical and policy support for our cybersecurity and data protection program, engaging in projects related to cybersecurity strategy and planning, risk management, defensive operations, and engineering.

Responsibilities include developing policy and procedural updates, performing analysis, and developing recommendations based on insights derived from collected information.

Basic qualifications include being a full-time student in an accredited degree-seeking program in Cyber or Information Security, with academic course work or experience understanding threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of general cybersecurity concepts, experience applying cybersecurity learning, and strong writing and communication skills.

The internship is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with the ability to work remotely as negotiated with the supervisor.

This is a paid internship offering $20-$25/hour depending on experience.
