About the Job
Quality Staffing Services is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance plans.
- Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure safe and quality execution of tasks.
- Participate in the company safety program and contribute to the safety team.
- Conduct regular facilities inspections and document findings.
- Assist in creating a maintenance budget for the upcoming year.
Requirements
- Mid-Level Experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing automation and robotics is necessary.
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, pneumatics, and PLC controller systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height.
Compensation and Benefits
- A salary range of $52,000 - $62,000 per year.
