Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by establishing a working relationship and using excellent knowledge of our products and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on our Vision and Guiding Principles, considering the best interest of Artful Home and its team members, artists, and customers
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, where all team members feel respected and motivated to improve individual and work area contributions
  • Answer customer inquiries and resolve product or service problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges, and provide accurate information about our products and services
  • Act as a liaison between customers and artists, and provide general shipping and order support
  • Enter accurate customer information into our computer systems and maintain up-to-date records
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and correspondences accurately and on time
  • Participate in departmental teams and tasks, and support other departments with special projects and tasks
Requirements
  • Ability to make responsible decisions and use good judgment in problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a service-driven mindset
  • Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and ensure accuracy
  • Strong computer skills and experience with core operating systems and Microsoft products
  • Ability to quickly learn and use software and application tools
  • Prompt and regular attendance
  • Two or more years of related experience, preferably in a retail environment
