Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations. Achieve timely monthly close and financial reporting.

  • Coordinate with accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure accurate recording of invoices, reimbursements, cash receipts, and revenue.

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and assist the accounting firm with necessary documentation.
  • Manage functional and benefit expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, and fixed asset depreciation, including necessary journal entries.

  • Support capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly budget versus actual variance reports.
  • Conduct general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and prepaid expenses.

  • Organize and maintain financial records, including the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  • Prepare documentation for external stakeholders.
  • Provide accounting support across various departments and ensure appropriate resource allocation.
  • Continuously seek improvements and efficiencies in all processes, focusing on cost reduction and enhanced productivity.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Assist with additional business support initiatives as directed by executive leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with accounting software and data entry.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and standards, including GAAP.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
