The LaSalle Group is collaborating with an organization specializing in in-home nursing care to find a skilled Level 2 Technical Support Specialist. This role involves managing IT vendor relationships, handling contract and performance issues, and ensuring the safety and security of operating environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of operating environments
  • Proactive monitoring and swift response to technical issues
  • Effective problem-solving and communication with clients and colleagues
  • Training and support for level 1 staff and documentation of knowledge base articles
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of operating environments
  • Software and hardware updates as required
  • Comprehensive documentation of reported malfunctions and response actions
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of networking protocols and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated individual who excels both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with current networking protocols and standards
  • Hands-on experience in resolving connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP routing, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
  • Working familiarity with cloud environments like AWS and Azure
  • Extensive background in team-oriented, collaborative settings
  • Experience with ticket or support software (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows servers, VMWare, and associated hardware
  • Certifications in Office 365, SharePoint, Citrix, as well as credentials like MCSE, CCNA, CCP-V, or AWS CSA
