Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living LLC. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and execute human resources programs, including HR system administration, onboarding, training, and development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the human resources information system.
  • Provide guidance, administration, and troubleshooting to employees and supervisors on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Compile and distribute reports to internal stakeholders on HR-related metrics and trends.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to employees and supervisors.
  • Handle employment-related questions and concerns from employees and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Complete various audits and special projects as needed.
  • Respond promptly to employee questions and concerns.
  • Administer the performance evaluation program.
  • Coordinate employee surveys and provide reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Assist with HR tasks related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Maintain HR forms, documents, and other employee-related communication.
  • Facilitate employee recognition initiatives as directed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) a plus.
  • Knowledge of employment law – federal and state statutes/regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Unwavering integrity and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work independently, highly motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Good judgment, resourceful, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Proficient with technology and MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with New Perspective's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
