Job Overview
Under the general oversight of the Director of Therapy Services, the Patient Care Coordination Specialist is tasked with managing patient visits effectively.

This role involves scheduling outpatient appointments, serving as a liaison between medical offices, admissions, and therapy services, and facilitating treatment coordination across various departments.

The specialist is responsible for registering patients in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner, exemplifying exceptional guest service. This includes conducting interviews with patients and guarantors, clarifying hospital policies, financial obligations, and patient rights. The specialist will also address routine inquiries related to the registration process.

Required Qualifications:
Two years of experience:
Experience in a hospital, a similar medical environment, or a physician's office. This includes registration, insurance verification, and/or scheduling experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Completion of college-level coursework, particularly in Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant training.
