Position Overview

A Patient Registration Specialist is sought for a dynamic, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgical Center. United Surgical Partners International is a leader in the establishment and management of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Registration Specialist will:

  • Engage with patients and their families, as well as physicians and staff.
  • Facilitate patient admissions and manage their documentation.
  • Update patient demographics and information within our systems.
  • Collect payments due and accurately document transactions in the billing system.
  • Handle financial transactions in accordance with office protocols.
  • Respond to incoming phone inquiries.
Compensation

Hourly wage range is between $18 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience or some clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating necessary office equipment.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and computer systems is advantageous.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
