About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a skilled Operator I to join our CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Minnetonka. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions.
  • Develop troubleshooting skills and demonstrate interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, active participation, and active listening.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form.
  • Represent the company positively during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.
  • Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Perform routine/preventative maintenance on applicable equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
  • Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
  • Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
  • Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 6 months of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environments.
  • Previous medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience is helpful.
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
