Internship Opportunity: Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineering

As an intern, you will collaborate closely with seasoned engineers across various business units. Your projects may encompass a wide range of GNC engineering disciplines, including guidance, navigation, control systems, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system testing, aerodynamics, and systems engineering. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of space travel and requires a strong dedication to safety and repeatability in space missions. The internship duration is set for 15 weeks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or a lawful permanent resident.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
  • Applicants should have achieved junior academic standing or higher at the time of application.
  • Availability for full-time work for a minimum of 15 weeks without concurrent coursework.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or SIMULINK.
  • A genuine passion for space exploration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Relevant internship or co-op experience and academic projects that showcase both technical skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with avionics software.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming.
