Position Overview:
Mead & Hunt, a prominent national architectural and engineering firm, has been delivering exceptional services across various sectors for over a century.
We are currently seeking a Junior Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in instrumentation and control systems design.
- Participate in PLC and HMI programming tasks.
- Contribute to the design of control panels and electrical systems for process equipment.
- Assist in developing functional specifications for process control systems.
- Involve in field testing, including I/O verification and operational readiness assessments.
- Support commissioning, training, and startup services for projects.
- Travel to client sites for controls engineering assignments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- A valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills:
Experience or familiarity with the following is advantageous:
- Strong academic performance and relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) development.
- Advanced computer skills in networking, troubleshooting, and programming.
- Experience in construction or engineering consulting.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience, skills, and location.
