The Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) is seeking a highly motivated Construction Finance Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C., or Atlanta.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.

About the Role:

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Construction Administration of LIIF's complex commercial construction loan portfolio. As a key member of our loan administration team, you will be responsible for providing construction administration during the construction lifecycle of our loans.

Main Responsibilities:

Act as liaison with customers, third-party lenders, inspectors, and title company representatives during all phases of construction financing;Administer loans in accordance with credit policy requirements;Ensure compliance with approved terms and conditions;Perform monthly construction draw budget analysis, system reconciliation, and disbursement recommendation;Evaluate and take action on items that may affect the disbursement process such as change orders, sufficiency of funds, liens, etc.Ensure funding occurs within designated timeframes;Collaborate with Asset Management to review loan closing documentation associated with construction administration;Nurture positive relationships with LIIF's customers and business partners through responsive communication and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational and time management skills, be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. You should also have previous experience in construction loan administration or training, knowledge of affordable housing and community development, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and lending databases.
