Job Overview

San Jose Construction USA is currently seeking a skilled Quantitative Construction Specialist to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in the company's financial success, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage construction budgets for Residential, Commercial, and Heavy Civil Projects.
  • Analyze RFPs/RFCs, construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for public and private bidding.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors regarding estimates, minority certifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, incorporating it into estimates.
  • Oversee the distribution of project documentation upon award.
  • Maintain organized project files and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Pre-Construction, and Construction Teams to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in Commercial/Residential and/or Heavy Civil construction.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding RFP/RFQ/IFB documents, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, estimating software, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, San Jose Construction USA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
