Position Overview:

The Mechanical Assembly Specialist will play a crucial role in executing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical assembly on production items.
  • Assist in the processing of materials and packaging.
  • Support the calibration of all products.
  • Maintain focus on the objectives of the Manufacturing Department and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Quality Management System.
  • Engage in the company's health and safety initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Complex Mechanical Assembly
  • Basic Electronic Assembly Skills

Experience with:

  • RoHS-Compliant Assembly
  • Handling and Inspection of PCBAs
  • Through-hole Hand Soldering
  • Hand-Soldering Wires
  • Wire Cutting, Stripping, and Crimping

Additional Skills:

  • Calibration of hand tools
  • Quality Control of hand tools
  • Firmware downloading into PCBs

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity and/or Certification: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent education; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Proficient in writing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Capability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Competence in addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with minimal supervision.
