Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our team at PEAK Technical Staffing USA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Assembly Supervisor, focusing on bench assembly tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble products.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly.
- Implement gluing and sealing methods with materials such as Loctite, epoxy, and RTV.
- Manage a variety of materials, ranging from heavy components to delicate parts.
- Execute soldering and assembly tasks for various components.
- Conduct quality assurance tests and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and report any product defects to the relevant personnel.
- Rework and repair assembled items according to updated engineering specifications.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of assembly processes.
- Safely handle ESD-sensitive materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in assembly work.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions for complex and standard assembly tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining equipment and a tidy work environment.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to perform additional related duties as needed.
- Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
