Position Summary

As a Retail Sales Floor Supervisor at Vuori, your main duty is to lead the retail sales team through your own example, fostering connections with customers, and embodying Vuori's brand values through extensive product knowledge and a positive demeanor. You will also inspire the team to maintain Vuori's retail and customer service excellence. As an essential member of the store leadership team, you will manage operations on the sales floor, take initiative, delegate responsibilities, and serve as the primary point of contact. Reporting to the Store Manager, the floor supervisor will assist with various leadership responsibilities and collaborate closely with both the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience:

  • Work alongside the sales team to guarantee each customer receives exceptional service.
  • Oversee the sales floor and team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Establish lasting relationships with customers by discussing product features, new arrivals, events, and more.

Be a Pillar of the Business:

  • Manage daily store operations in the absence of higher management.
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals in a collaborative, commission-based environment.
  • Stay informed about fashion trends and developments in activewear to provide expert advice to customers.

Leadership and Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with the Retail Store Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, community involvement, and team coordination for efficient business practices.
  • Guide the team in store upkeep tasks such as restocking, visual merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Encourage staff to uphold high standards of attendance, punctuality, and commitment to their roles under the Retail Store Manager's supervision.
  • Build relationships with local studios, vendors, and instructors.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to organize events with fitness and wellness collaborators.
  • Coordinate weekly team meetings at local studios.

Qualifications:

  • Available for morning and/or evening shifts, capable of working 8-hour shifts, five days a week, including weekends.
  • Demonstrated excellence in punctuality and attendance, strictly adhering to assigned shifts.
  • Proficient in building relationships with customers and team members.
  • Experienced in customer service, creating memorable experiences, nurturing customer relationships, embracing the social aspect of sales, and effectively managing customer concerns.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick to learn new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Eager to learn new skills and receptive to feedback.
